Void is a game about not using your phone. It needs a few sensors to know that you have stopped, and a location to know where your stillness happened. This page says exactly what that means.

What stays on your device, always

What is stored on our servers

Who can see your voids

Every void is anonymous by default. You decide, void by void:

Nothing about your live position is ever shared. Public voids show where you have spent quiet time, at grid resolution — not where you are now.

What we never do

Services we rely on

Accounts and game data are stored with Supabase (Postgres hosting). Map tiles come from MapTiler and OpenStreetMap. The website is hosted by Cloudflare. These providers process data on our behalf to run the service.

Deleting your data

Email contact@suncostlabs.com from your account's address and we will delete your account, your territory, and everything attached to it. During the beta this is done by hand, usually within a few days.

Children

Void is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their data.

Changes

If this policy changes materially, the date above changes and we will note it in the app.
